Data provision and data security
Participants in the competition will be required to provide complete and accurate information regarding themselves, as requested in the registration form.
Participants will be obliged to update their personal data when the information previously provided in the registration form no longer corresponds to reality.
Personal data is confidential.
Using the information Via Tansilvanica Marathon
The information contained on the Site is intended for Users for the purpose of informing and promoting the project and may not be subject to commercialization in any form.
The illegal or unauthorized use of information from the Site, including but not limited to the collection of participants' names in the competition, email addresses, photographs, or any information or data for commercial purposes, broadcasting, or sending unsolicited messages is strictly prohibited.
Ownership of the content
The "Content" defines all information contained on the Via Transilvanica Marathon Website, in the form of text, data, software, or static images.
The content of the Site is the property of the Tășuleasa Social Association and cannot be reproduced, distributed, sold, or resold without its written consent.
The unauthorized use of information, trademarks, or any data from the Site is strictly prohibited; in case of violation of these provisions, the Tășuleasa Social Association reserves the right to seek legal support for the infringement of its rights.
Limitation of liability
Users understand and agree to the following:
a) The use of the information and services of the Via Transilvanica Maraton Site is done at their own risk. Services are provided on an "as is" or "as available" basis.
b) The Tășuleasa Social Association does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that the information published on the Site will be correct or accurate; that the services will meet all User requirements; or that any programming error will be corrected.
c) No verbal or written information obtained from or through the Site will create any liability for the Tășuleasa Social Association unless specifically provided for in this document.
Other provisions
The Tășuleasa Social Association may, at any time, unilaterally suspend, modify, add or delete parts of the Content provided on the Via Transilvanica Marathon Site.
The Association may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. The new rules will take effect from the moment they are displayed on the Site.
When the terms and conditions of use of the Site are modified, reference will be made to this on one of the main pages.
The applicable legislation
The rights and obligations of the parties, as arising from this document, as well as the legal effects produced by it, are governed by the applicable Romanian laws.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with this document will be resolved amicably.
In the event that disputes cannot be resolved amicably, the parties will address the competent courts.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
The Tășuleasa Social Association and Via Transilvanica Marathon offer the possibility of online registration and payment. To make this possible, we have partnerships with the following companies:
- Platform 42km (https://www.42km.ro/legal/terms) initiated and managed by Solomon Gabriel PFA. We use this platform to collect and manage the data of participants who register for the Via Transilvanica Marathon events.
- EuPlatesc (https://www.euplatesc.ro/termeni-si-conditii.php) - Payments by Visa or Mastercard credit card are processed through the online payment processing service provided by Banca Transilvania and EuPlătesc.
By placing the order, the client accepts without objection the terms of use, the value of which is the same as a valid concluded contract. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the client fully assumes the rights and obligations arising from the registration for a sports event.
For clarifications or various issues that may arise during the registration or payment process, or afterwards, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sportsmanship represents us and we will try our best to resolve any issue that may arise as quickly as possible.
The use of personal data
We place a very high emphasis on respecting privacy and are stringent in adhering to the rules regarding the processing of personal data online. The purpose of collecting personal data is to be able to contact you in case of registering for the competition trials or to inform you about changes occurring in the program.
According to the new Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data that came into force on May 25, 2018, we remind you that you have the following rights: to information, access, rectification, and intervention on the data, not to be subject to an individual decision, to obtain restriction of processing and data portability, to object to processing, and to request the deletion of personal data concerning you, as well as the right not to be subjected to a decision based solely on automated means. We retain your personal data for a period of 3 years.
To exercise these rights, you may send a written, dated, and signed request to asociatia@tasuleasasocial.ro or maraton@viatransilvanica.com. You are also recognized the right to address the justice system. According to Romanian legislation, minors must be monitored in the use of payment instruments and the use of personal or sensitive data by parents or legal guardians. Tășuleasa Social Association cannot be held responsible for situations in which minors engage in activities on the site without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
