The cross-country race starts from the Tășuleasa Social Association’s campus. The route follows the Via Transilvanica trail on Drumul Romanilor toward Dosul Zâmbroaiei, running along the contour line for approximately 2 km, followed by a 3 km descent. The next section of the trail is a steep climb of about 3.5 km, with an elevation gain of 481 m, which then continues with 1.5 km along the contour line toward the Tășuleasa peak on a forest road.
From the start area, the trail turns right and enters a forest road, which is followed for approximately 1.4 km, after which it turns right again and enters a forested area. This is followed by a continuous descent of about 3.2 km, leading to the first checkpoint and hydration station, located on the forest path. Immediately after this point, the trail turns left and begins a steady, but not overly aggressive, climb of approximately 2 km. As the slope eases, the trail re-enters the forest, where a demanding climb of about 800 m leads to the checkpoint and hydration station on the Tășuleasa mountain, located around kilometer 7 of the race.
From here, a steep descent begins on a dirt road leading toward a forest path. Once on it, competitors turn left and continue for about 200 m, then proceed straight ahead onto asphalt. As the campus comes into view, the trail follows the asphalt road for approximately 1 km, then turns right. In the final 300 m, runners enter through the Tășuleasa Social Association’s campus gate, where the finish line is located.
The cross-country race includes two checkpoints and hydration stations: the first at approximately kilometer 5, the second at kilometer 7. Each of them provides water and snacks and every participant must pass through all. Bypassing any checkpoint and hydration station results in disqualification. After registration, please make sure you have completed and bring with you this declaration.
